The Widgey nursing/breastfeeding pillow is strong & firm providing good support to baby, particularly their back, whilst feeding. (Soft pillows offer no support to the baby's spine).
The pillow will also grip around your waistline comfortably offering you a feeling of security & removes the need adjust it for comfort during feeding.
This multi use breast feeding pillow has many functions including pre-natal back support for you, optional between knees support whilst sleeping or as a wedge to rest under your tummy when sleeping on your side. After a caesarean the pillow removes all weight from the stomach area to the thighs & combined with underarm feeding is recommended by midwives.
When baby gets bigger Widgey can be used as a rest on the floor, a prop to learn to sit upright, tummy play support & to cushion their fall if they topple over.

Good value for money Sent on 01 September 2010Good value for money, considering that some of these nursing pillows can be quite expensive. I found it comfortable to use, especially since I had a ceasarean, and I used the pillow so it was to the side of me and I fed my son "rugby ball" style, was comfortable and worked a treat. I can see that it will also come in handy when he is ready to sit up and it can be used as a support pillow for him.

Excellent! Sent on 04 August 2010I had originally bought a U-shaped pillow from eBay and didn't find it very helpful and it wasn't firm. It acted just as a flat pillow under the baby. It was however very comfortable during pregnancy and I've used it since in bed.
This Widgey Nursing Pillow is by far the best product for every new mum even those who aren't choosing to breast feed. The pillow is firm and perfectly shaped to hold the baby close to you and also can be used to sit them up. I am so happy that I bought it, only wished I bought it earlier.
I have bought the one with lots of shapes and colours on it and my daughter loves to stare at it and pat the pillow w/ her hands.
I apologize for going on and on about this pillow - but honestly when you find something that works you really want to make other people aware.
I give the pillow 10 out of 10 and lots of gold stars.

So handy Sent on 28 July 2010This pillow has been one of my best buys. It has made nursing so much easier, am using it now as I feed and type on my laptop at the same time. It's lovely and solid and goes very comfortably around your waist. Nice and cosey for my baby and still perfect now that he's bigger (4.5 mths).
widgey feeding pillow Sent on 22 July 2010looks good, not used it yet for breastfeeding as still pregnant. tried as a back spport but a bit too hard so not very comfortable.
