Lamaze bug stacker Sent on 29 August 2010Bought for 8 month old baby.Appealing faces.Brightly coloured.Right size to grasp. Tough. Will keep baby entertained for months to come as these bugs provide different levels of imaginative and " scientific" play.
Disappointing Sent on 31 July 2010I thought that these would provide lots of entertainment either as stacking toys or individually but my son hasn't really taken to them. He will play with them individually for about a minute but thats it. He adores his stacking cups so I was disappointed he didn't really bother with them.
Bug Stackers Sent on 23 June 2010I bought the Lamaze Balancing Bug Stacker for my 6 month old son. The same great quality of product we've come to expect from Lamaze.
My son is attracted to the brightly coloured toys, but finds them hard to grasp. Obviously at his age he has no concept of 'stacking' objects and just wants to stick everything in his mouth! Although the bugs hold together with magnets, they are not very strong and the bugs have a tendency to fall apart when lifted (stuck together). On occasion my son has bashed himself when they have fallen apart, which inevitably causes tears!
I'd say there are better Lamaze products out there, and in hindsight I wouldn't have bought these. However, I'm hoping that as my son grows, he will enjoy playing with them more.
Lovely toy Sent on 21 May 2010A great toy through its simplicity. Interesting for little hands/mouths to explore and small enough to throw a couple in your bag for when you're out and about.
Totally worth buying Sent on 19 May 2010Bought this for my 8 month old daughter. They are a fantastic little set of stacking toys and although she has yet to master the skill of stacking them together, she's been having great fun throwing them on the floor and watching Mummy pick them up for her... over... and over... again!!! Just like other reviewers have said, they really are worth the purchase.
