Good & Releives Pain Sent on 09 August 2010I bought this for my sister who was suffering with severe back pain. This came as very handy and she used to wear this in the night before sleep and she used to get up in the morning, completely forgetting about her pain. This is very useful not a permanent cure but relieves pain. Found it very useful.
Soothing Backwrap Sent on 04 August 2010This heatwrap worked very well on my back which I had pulled lifting a lightweight item carelessly. I could hardly walk on the day it arrived and the relief to my pain was immediate -- it really is marvellous.
If the fixing strap was longer I would have awarded 5 stars rather than the 4 I have given. It is uncomfortable, using the add-on bit, and springs apart much too easily if you are attempting to move about. Most people with bad backs have large stomachs so I find it amazing that the makers should produce a fixing length for skinny people. However if you wear this when just sitting then the relief it brings is wonderful.
Good for centralised lower back discomfort. Sent on 31 May 2010I bought this for a glute / lower back injury that I have. I would say that it is great if you have centralised pain / discomfort in the lower back, but it is not so good if your pain is on one side; the product is a bit too bulky and not comfortable to wear "off-centre" or low down above the glute. A partially filled hot water bottle under clothes does a better job of concentrating warmth there.
As I say its good for centralised lower back discomfort like you see it used in the image - it heats quickly in the micro and retains the heat quite well. But if you've a pain in the bum like me, you're better off with a hot water bottle!

Does the job! Sent on 12 April 2010Bought this for my husband as he suffers a lot with lower back pain. This doesn't cure the problem, but it certainly helps a great deal.
I would reccommend to at least try it.
