keep little fingers out of cupboards!! Sent on 13 August 2010These are ideal to keep the kids out of your cupboards, a pain to fix to the units, but worth it to stop them emptying the cupboards. The only downfall is they are not finger friendly, they could still trap their fingers, unlike with the draw lock which does not close fully, these cupboard locks do. They do the job though, keeping them out of the cupboard.

bought these to keep my son out of the kitchen cupboards and drawers. They are quite difficult to fit and the screws supplied did not seem to be the correct fit. The heads were not wide enough to securely hold the base plate in place. They take a bit of getting used to once fitted and some of them have broken or have popped off due to the screws. Not a great product, which is surprising as I though clippasafe to be one of the best brand names. I can only suggest that anyone looking to buy these, might want to purchase screws with a flatter, wider head. The only good thing about these is, we were able to fit them onto cupboards and drawers, but not much use now as half of them are no longer working!
Easy to fit, very effective, great value Sent on 22 June 2010Had no problem fitting these at all and after some thorough 'testing' by my 2 year old they're still perfectly intact. He doesn't even bother attempting to open cupboards any longer so life in the kitchen is less stressful now!
I used a drill with a small drill bit to create a pilot hole for the screws as some people said they're difficult to screw in.
These locks are discreet and easy to open (for adults) although the extra step of pushing the clip away from its catch to open the cupboard is a bit annoying to start with. That's the nature of cupboard locks I suppose and if they were easy to open then that'll defeat their purpose.
